Matrix.fun – Tournament Rules & Fair Play Policy
Version: 2.0
Governing lawn: Swiss Law
1. Platform Scope and Philosophy
Matrix.fun is a competitive platform for community driven, engagement and skill-based
tournaments. The platform does not support gambling, betting, or any chance-based
mechanics unless explicitly structured under a promotional airdrop format where no user
incurs a financial loss. Matrix.fun enables token communities and hosts to run their own
tournaments using supported games and tokens.
2. Tournament Format Responsibility
- Each tournament on Matrix.fun may be created or configured by Matrix.fun or
third-party hosts.
- It is the user’s responsibility to carefully read and understand the specific tournament
rules, prize structure, token used, and qualification criteria prior to joining.
- Prize distributions, formats (e.g. bracket, leaderboard, elimination), entry fees, and
scoring logic may vary by tournament and are defined per tournament by the host.
3. Token Use Disclaimer
Tokens used in tournaments are selected by the project host.
- Matrix.fun does not endorse, promote, or guarantee the value or legitimacy of any
third-party token used in a tournament.
- Users join tournaments at their own risk and should perform their own due diligence.
4. Anti-Cheating, Exploits, and Collusion
- Any form of cheating, game exploits, or match collusion is strictly prohibited.
- Matrix.fun reserves the right to disqualify, restrict, or ban users suspected of violating
fair play rules.
- While anti-cheat enforcement is primarily handled by the games themselves, Matrix.fun
may review disputes and reports at its discretion.
- Matrix.fun is not liable for losses caused by other users’ misconduct but will take
reasonable steps to investigate and act.
5. Match Attendance & No-Show Policy
- Users who fail to show up for a scheduled or required match may be disqualified and
forfeit any entry fees or prizes.
- Disqualification decisions are at the discretion of the tournament host and may not be
reversed.
- In team-based tournaments, a team may be disqualified if it fails to meet the required
player participation threshold (e.g. missing players).
- Players are responsible for verifying time zones, lobby rules, and game codes if
provided.
6. Minimum Participation Requirement
- Some tournaments, including leaderboard formats, require players to complete a
minimum number of games to qualify for rewards.
- Simply joining a tournament does not guarantee eligibility for prizes or airdrops. Failure
to participate actively may result in no reward.
7. Manual Adjustments & Settlement Rights
While Matrix.fun uses automated game tracking and scoring APIs, issues may arise due
to:
- Incomplete data from game providers
- Disconnection or failure to report a result
- Game bugs or user misconduct
In such cases, Matrix.fun administrators may manually:
- Adjust scores or placements
- Modify prize allocations
- Rectify invalid matches
When manual adjustments are made to tournament outcomes or rewards, Matrix.fun will
notify affected participants promptly via platform notifications. No separate email
notifications will be provided. These changes may take time to process and Matrix.fun
will make its efforts to complete these adjustments within 30 days following the
conclusion of the affected tournament. Players must raise any disputes or concerns
regarding tournament results within this timeframe to be considered. Matrix.fun reserves
full discretion in resolving such disputes, prioritizing platform integrity. Matrix.fun shall
not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from technical failures, data
synchronization errors, or manual adjustments made in good faith to maintain fair
tournament outcomes.
8. Host Communication & User Data Visibility
By joining a tournament, users consent to limited data visibility by the host, including:
- Wallet address (always visible)
- Voluntarily submitted Telegram handles (for team coordination or prize delivery
Hosts are expected to use this data only for tournament-related purposes.
9. Modifications & Final Interpretation
Matrix.fun reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
Platform administrators have final interpretation rights in any dispute not explicitly
covered by these rules.
We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.
10. User Consent
By participating in any tournament on Matrix.fun, users acknowledge and agree to be
bound by this Tournament Rules & Fair Play Policy, as well as the platform's Terms of
Service and Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with or consent to these rules, do not join or participate in any
tournament on Matrix.fun.
